Evaluation Q6

For the planning research stage of creating our media product i used several websites and technologies such as; UK Film Council, BBFC, 1Channel, Youtube, Google, etc.
  

For the construction stage we used video cameras and microphones when getting the footage. We then used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit our film.

For the evaluation i have used Blogger, Microsoft PowerPoint and Google.
 

I learnt how to use different techniques on premiere pro and how to put different effects on it and more importantly i learnt how to cut the footage and put it together so that it looked continous and effective. I also learned how to use the camera and the other hardware that was required to film the footage.

I found most of this technology quite easy to use, however accasionally we had a few problems with the camera when we was uploading the footage. A couple of programs that i needed to use on the school computers were blocked which made it harder to get the work done in the time given.

I had not used blogger before however i find it easy to pick up and use. I had used digital video cameras before but not the kind we use for this project. they were more complicated but i found it easy to get the hang of.

We used all natural lighting for our film because we didnt feel it needed to be altered at any point, however i have learnt when high key and low key lighting need to be used. i was constantly learning new things about editing and different ways i could improve the film. we used a boom mic to pick up the sound and i learnt that we needed to use a dead cat especially for the outdoor scenes.
