Green screen - continued
We have decided not to use the green screen because we dont think it will look as realistic as if the ghost is actually in the chosen location. we have decided to just film it there and use an effect called ghosting instead as it is effective and efficient.

Risk Assessment
The Graveyard.
Slippery Grass - All people on set will wear sensible footwear.
The Cellar.
Wet Floor - Someone will attempt to dry the parts of the set which are able to be dried, and all people on set will wear sensible footwear.
Steep Steps - The people who have to walk down the steps will take care when doing so, any equipment which needs to be taken down will be carried by no less than 2 people.
Low Ceilings - People and equipment will duck or be lowered when under the lower ceilings. Safe foam will be put around the pipes that hang down. Danger tape will be put up so people know when to duck.
Crates and Barrels - These will be secure so that they can't fall and hurt someone. Except the props which are used, these will be handled in a safe way.
The BeerGarden.
The Gate - The gate tends to get stuck and someone could walk into it, the person opening the gate will make sure it starts to open before walking through.
The Ramp - The ramp towards the door sometimes slips or becomes slippy so people will take extra caution when going up the ramp or walking towards it.
Broken Bottles - There may be broken bottles around the beergarden so someone will be sent round to clean them up before shooting begins.

Feedback
- Some shakey shots.
- Some smoother transitions.
- Work on sound (find some suitable music for the graveyard scene)
- filling in gaps with what?
- Link clearer (the two scenes) - footage needed, not long enough.
- make the connection between characters clearer?

Stills of Location
Graveyard.
This is the grave stone we are using for the opening of our film.
This is the graveyard which most of the opening is set in, we chose this grave because you can see others behind it and it is more asthetically pleasing.
This is an example of a shot we could use to show the main character in front of the grave.
Cellar.
The shot of the ghost will be taken from this angle
These are the stairs where the characters will walk down at the beginning of the scene. The shot will be taken from a slightly higher angle. There will also be a handheld shot down these stairs.
This is the room where most of the scene happens, we chose it because it is narrow and the scariest looking.
Beer Garden.
This is the beer garden where the main character walks into the pub.
This is the door to the pub, however you dont actually see this door in the film, it cuts off just before she walks up to it.
We use a shot of this gate, it leads to the scene where she walks into the pub.

SawVII Analysis.
Camera:- medium shot. close ups to show the emotion of the injured man. Long shot when he closes the door. Tracking shot of the blood trail and feet being dragged along the floor. Long shot of the man. Zoom in of man coming round the corner, then a close up of his face to show his emotions-pain. Panning shot round to man crawling. close up of leg, close up of face. Keeps switching between the two.
Editing:- Logo's, then it zooms in on the titles. It has very fast editing which helps create a mood and tone for the movie. Normal cut which help the continuity of the film, and so the audience are able to follow the storyline. Screen blacks out, then keeps going back to shots of credits.
Sound:-
Diagetic: man screaming, heavily breathing, the steam and blood dripping, these add to the film as they create suspense. they also make enigma as you wonder what is going to happen to the man all the way through and what has happened to him.
Non-Diagetic: Talking which is low and deep voiced. The sound of metal twisting/moving/creaking. Slow music which is drumming, this helps create the low tone to the film. Music changes and gets more high pitched.
M.E.S:-
Costume: Casual clothing.
Lighting: Dark low key lighting which is green tinted, which forms a mood to the film.
Actors: Man-middle aged/young. A bald man who ripped his skin off. This could have being a mask, but the audience doesn't know so this forms enigma.
Make-up: fake blood which looks real.
Props: The tazer.
Setting: Cellar/Basement/Warehouse styled place.
